Theme Defined
An idea that recurs in or pervades a work of art or literature.
Nature, Muse and Structure are sub-collections of images that make up the contents of theTheme Collection and were my original photoartwork categories from my former site. I still consider the work in these three categories to be the bread and butter of my overall photoart focus, not only as individual categories, yet playing out as a medley of all combinations of the three components. The Nature Collection is a gallery of stylized pieces which employ the intention of featuring the beauty and often revealing a surreal expression of nature scenes ranging from wildlife to flora and fauna to mountain, desret or sea landscapes to other natural phenomenon. Structure refers specifically to architecture, yet includes the artistic expressions and renderings of all man made subjects like sculpture, automobiles, still lives, etc.. The Muse collection is focused on portraiture and candids of people and personalities including work with models, those at work and play in there natural realm and much more. Some of my Theme pieces also reflect the integration these 3 categories, Nature, Muse and Structure and in any possible combination of two. Exploring those relationships visually are revealed in all sub categories. The final outcome always involves an improvisation variable, not only of the subjects, yet from the mood of the artist behind the lens as well as at the mouse, keyboard and screen.
